Remember how I said we’ve been pretty busy lately? Yeah, it’s kind of unreal, but as you can see, it’s all been worth it! Do you also remember how great the weather has been, well on the day of Taylor’s session we didn’t quite have the cool 80 degree weather…it was a little hotter on the back porch of their home (let me say their pool was looking really inviting…) but more locations were awaiting us and I’m so glad we were able to capture all of great images we did. And even though the twins were not to excited about having their photograph taken together, they certainly smiled the part and made mom happy!

First of all, how did Malachi get so big? Just the other day he was a teeny tiny little angel sleeping on a blue blanket at the studio, now he’s starting to smile, hold his head up and he’s already  stealing my heart!

Together with his cousin Aubrey, they certainly made a cute tutu and ties session! Bob and Robin are going to run out of room on their walls at home filling it up with photos of their grand babies!

A while back, I was shopping at Lillians at the same time as a mom and her two daughters. The mom was trying on clothes and I thought to myself ‘oh my, what a cute family!’

To my surprise, the same mom and one of the daughters, along with dad,  walked through the studio doors last week and I couldn’t have been more excited! Right away we hit it off, while dad wasn’t surprised at all on how we originally met. “Oh boy! Lillians…girls are you sure you have everything for today? Or do we need to run to Lillians first? I’m sure you will find a skirt or jacket or something.”:)

This family was so much fun to work with. I may say that a lot, but I am one lucky photographer to have such caring families walk through our door and trust me, when I say it,  it’s always true.  Emily’s parents are beyond supportive and proud of their little girl. I overhead dad whisper to mom a few times “we sure do have a beautiful daughter’.  Well Emily is lucky to have parents like hers. And even though a couple of the outfits may not have been ‘dad approved’ before the session, I don’t think Emily could have looked bad even if she’d worn a paper bag.;)

I have a feeling that dads favorites will be her sports images. After all, she did have a great coach and trainer all these year:)

Grant is about to turn 4 years old and he is defiantly all boy! He’s into tractors, farming, and taking care of his little sister! He was also full of stories during this session, telling me about his neighbor, Nolan and also telling me about the farm and what he does to help dad. The excitement in kids Grant’s age just make my day. A few months ago, we sat next to the Hilmes family at the Carlyle Circus and the enthusiasm he had during the show made my heart smile! I love when kids are having fun. Makes you realize you did something right as a mom:)

Sarah and I are in love with Elle’s senior images! She was one of our lucky winners from our Lillians Stylized Shopping Day and O.M.G. does she look amazing in everything! We went out to her uncles barn, grandpa’s pond, and even found a pretty awesome place in-between!

Elle, you are just gorgeous and I am so glad we had the opportunity to photograph you and spend the day with both you and your mom. Hopefully, Chuck doesn’t lock you in your room after seeing these….either that or we will have to beat the boys away with a stick;)Either way, you are a natural in front of the camera and your eyes…um, WOW!!! The camera just loves you!
